“Dr Damian” joined the practice in July 2010.  Originally from Derry in Northern Ireland, he has spent the past 18 years training and working in the Grampian area.  He enjoys all aspects of General Practice but is particularly interested in Dementia, Men’s Health and medical education.

Dr Rhona McKeown

(Glasgow 1992)

“Dr Rhona” has worked in the practice since 2005 and became a partner in early 2014.  She shares the post with Dr Linzi as Clinical Senior Lecturer in the Department of GP & Primary Care in Aberdeen University, teaching medical students.  She is also Mentor for doctors on the GP Retainer Scheme.  Dr Rhona moved to Aberdeenshire in 2005 from Kirkintilloch where she had worked as a GP for nearly 10 years.

Dr Kevin Cormack

(Dundee 2002)

“Dr Kevin” initially joined the practice in August 2009 for a one-year paediatric GP fellowship post. He rejoined us as a locum GP in March 2014, becoming a partner in October 2014. Originally from Thurso in Caithness, he moved to Bridge of Don as a child. He has a particular interest in children’s medicine, stemming from several years of paediatrics experience in hospitals all over Scotland. His other interests include cycling, reading and creative writing.

Dr Linzi Lumsden

(Dundee 2008)

“Dr Linzi” joined us in May 2014.  Prior to this she completed her GP training in and around Aberdeen then spent one year as a Career Start GP developing a specialist interest in family planning.  Dr Linzi is qualified to fit both coils and contraceptive implants.  Outside work she enjoys travelling, cooking and cycling

“Dr Julie” joined the practice in Autumn 2010. Prior to this she has worked in Aberdeen, New Zealand and then Yorkshire before having some time out to look after her family. She returned to General Practice in 2009 and is interested in all aspects of patient care.

Dr Christine Paterson

“Dr Christine” has worked with us since October 2005.  She enjoys the variety of working in General Practice and has particular interests in Teenage Health, Gynaecology and Paediatrics.

Dr Theresa Marwick

(Aberdeen 1995)

MBChB, FRCGP, DRCOG, DFFP
“Dr Theresa” joined the practice in December 2019 but has been a local GP for 20 years.  She also teaches medical students and facilitates groupwork for new GP’s in training.

Practice Nurse/Treatment Room Nurse

Gillian Mitchell (Practice Nurse) and Hannha Fuller (Treatment Room Nurse) carry out a wide range of nursing duties.  These include: Chronic Disease Clinics (including Asthma, Diabetes, Heart Disease and COPD); Well Woman Clinics including smear tests; Contraceptive Advice; Blood tests for patients taking Warfarin; wound dressings; removal of stitches; blood pressure checks; well man checks.  They can also help and advise on a wide range of other matters including stopping smoking and advice on diet and weight management.

Health Visitor

Our Health Visitor is Arlene Sawer.  Arlene can be contacted by telephoning 01224 551447 and leaving a message.  She  is able to help on many health matters with special interest in the following: Under 5’s, Expectant and New Mothers, Elderly, and other age groups where support and advice are required.

CTAC Healthcare Support Workers

Laura and Gerald are trained in Venepuncture (taking blood) and can also measure Blood Pressure and perform ECG checks on patients.

Community Healthcare

Our  District Nurse and Community Nurse team can be contacted on
01224 551458 and are available to see house-bound patients.

Midwife

Our team of midwives “Team Violet”, based in Bridge of Don, work with the doctors to provide continuity of care for mother and baby throughout their pregnancy and after.  To see a midwife to book your pregnancy please email [email protected] giving them your name/date of birth/contact number and a member of their team will be in touch within 24hrs.

Practice Management Team

Our Practice Management Team consists of Tracey Thom who assumes the main Practice Management role and is supported by Sandra Edwards, Assistant Practice Manager.

Admin Team

Our well trained and motivated Admin team consists of Lisa our Office Supervisor and Natallie, Sonya, Katrina, Joyce, Hollie, Elaine, Kelly, Caroline and Ria who ensure the smooth running of reception. They will deal with your requests and any questions you may have in a sensitive and confidential manner and will pass on information to the doctor. Please remember that they do have to obtain information from patients in order for the doctor to provide the best possible service.
